Project aims to create climate change awareness through an age old method of story telling. First series of the project “ Fizza climate Stories “ is a unique publication of Emaanz Peekaboo.
The story book contains stories on climate change contributed by the Pakistani kids from all over the globe.
The book has got endorsments from Ministry of Climate Change Pakistan and WWF-Pakistan and will be publishing soon!
If there is one woman in Pakistan working relentlessly to encourage Pakistani public and private spaces to take a more integrated sustainability approach, it is Hira Wajahat. Hira is National Lead for ClimateLaunchpad and Programme Manager at consulting firm Stimulus. Her aim is to bring more corporate collaboration and investment in local production and start-ups already involved in creating social or environmental impact.
Ashley Lashley, a Barbadian UNICEF Youth Advocate with a wide focus on social development issues particularly as it relates to health, the environment, and women’s rights. Miss Lashley began on her journey by establishing in 2016, while still at The Lodge School in Barbados, The Schools Against Non-Communicable Diseases when she was sixteen (16) years old. She also chaired committees on these issues and worked with many NGOs and Community Based Organizations in Barbados.
